Meet Our Founders
Started in Anacortes in 2010
Every time we shared Jill’s salsas at parties and potlucks, friends and family would first say, “This is the best salsa I’ve ever tasted!” Then, “Where can I get more of this?” was followed by, “You should sell this stuff. It’s great!” Thus, Skagit’s Best Salsa Company started in December 2010 inspired by the Great Recession and family and friends’ encouragement.
As we scaled, Kirt’s extensive grocery experience helped us research and source quality ingredients, labels, packaging for our burgeoning business and markets. Though no longer married, Kirt and Jill still work together to bring the best tasting, highest quality salsa to you, your family and friends.
